My Bio

If you look closely, my tie has flamingos.

I am a third-year Computer Science major at the University of Texas at Austin with a minor in Entrepreneurship. I am currently a part-time intern at a startup called Mindsight, where I do front-end web development using Vue.js and Bulma. I am incredibly involved in the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), and I am the Athletics Director for this year. Also, I am the President of the Div Day Committee which is a committee composed of members from the Hispanic Association of Computer Scientists (HACS) and the Association of Black Computer Scientists (ABCS). To elaborate on Div Day, it is a conference hosted at UT Austin focused on promoting diversity and inclusion in tech and STEM.

Furthermore, my hobbies include running and bouldering, both of which I am really passionate about. I have competed in many local races like the Austin Half Marathon and Capital to Coast relay (a 223-mile relay!). Also, my love for bouldering came summer 2018, and I have been hooked on it ever since. To add a little more, I am a video game nerd that has no time to play video games, and I also enjoy watching movies (especially Star Wars).
